Transferring as 12th grader is not a good idea. Rather, if you want to come to Manhattan, please work hard to find out colleges and universities near or in New York city. I do not know why you want to transfer at this stage. Without compelling reasons for transfer, it is not a smart move.。

你有绿卡吗？如果有绿卡或公民，转公立学校没有难度。

但是以升学的角度来说，12年级一开学就要开始准备递交大学申请材料，这个时候就算转学成功，还要开始适应新的环境，同时还要忙着申请大学的所有工作，如果你的目标是比较好的大学，那将会很辛苦。

不建议12年级转学，会给自己造成很多麻烦，申请大学时推荐信需要新学校老师写，他们对你还不熟悉。

不知道你是什么原因转学，我个人觉得12年级转学怎样都不是一个很好的选择，很多学校根本就不收12年级的，可选择的好学校不会很多。

再说真要12年级转也应该暑假前就联系好的，现在都要开学了，除非你有非常合理的理由给学校为什么要转学。
